Project Overview

Gallant Orbit was entrusted with the interior design of Madonna Studios, shaping a contemporary salon environment that balances professional functionality with a distinctive, welcoming visual character. The design is centred around a refined palette of cool blue, warm timber tones, soft neutrals and metallic accents, creating a space that feels cohesive across its different service areas.

The salon is organised around a series of individual styling stations, complemented by dedicated treatment seating and generous mirror installations. Rounded forms appear throughout the interior, particularly in the circular mirrors, while the combination of textured wall surfaces, timber detailing and carefully positioned greenery introduces warmth and visual depth. The result is a modern salon interior that feels considered, comfortable and visually memorable.

Scope & Execution

Gallant Orbit’s interior design brings together the functional and aesthetic elements of the salon into a unified spatial composition. The styling area features a continuous counter with integrated work points, framed by circular mirrors and slim vertical lighting. Deep blue salon chairs provide a strong visual anchor, while the light-coloured countertop and timber-fronted cabinetry create contrast against the textured blue-grey walls.

Ceiling and lighting treatments play an important role in defining the atmosphere. Suspended dome-shaped pendants sit above the styling stations, complemented by recessed ceiling lights and linear illumination over the work areas. Elsewhere, a statement timber slatted ceiling element and exposed ductwork contribute an understated contemporary character. Full-height and partial mirrored surfaces visually extend the space, while timber shutters, shelving and vertical detailing reinforce the material language. The furniture, fixtures, electrical points and styling equipment are integrated into the design without disrupting the clean overall composition.

Outcome & Impact

The completed Madonna Studios salon presents a carefully coordinated interior where functionality and visual identity work together. The arrangement of styling stations creates an efficient working environment, while the generous mirrors, comfortable seating and layered lighting support the everyday salon experience. The palette also gives the interior a recognisable character without overwhelming the space.

From textured feature walls and timber accents to the distinctive blue seating and softly illuminated mirrors, each element contributes to a consistent design language.
